Jaime Flores opened the Tamale
Hut Cafe (THC) in North Riverside, Illinois in 2006, and is incorporated in the state of Illinois. Future Tamale Hut Cafe
restaurants will be corporate owned, and individual licensing agreements will be developed with business partners to penetrate select markets and
locations. Though the current focus is Illinois and the Chicago area, THC is
currently looking into a national franchise launch for the future. Tamale Hut
Cafe, Inc. is a minority owned business. Flores is a first generation Mexican
American born in Chicago.
Prior to opening the Tamale Hut Cafe, Jaime worked
as an executive for 20 years at Inroads, Inc., a national not-for-profit group
(www.inroads.org).
He managed five U.S. offices and one international office in Mexico
City. At Inroads he successfully recruited, managed, and developed the Board
of Directors, national budget, and supervised directors, managers and staff.
His leadership increased U.S. and Mexico sales market opportunities dramatically. Jaime was taught to make tamales and
other delicious homemade foods by his Uncle Tony (tio) and Aunt Emma (tia) Well-schooled
in the art of making homemade tamales and other foods, THC offers customers a
delightful home-cooked family dining experience for a reasonable price. Tamale Hut Cafe's mission
is to provide customers a delightful dining experience, and pledges the

Tamale Hut Cafe will
address the needs of manufacturing quality tamales and serving them to
customers in a safe, clean, and inviting environment. Tamale Hut Cafe will
produce other Hispanic products for customers introducing them on how these
products can be used and enjoyed to enhance their eating experience. |
